ATTENTION ALL VOLUNTEER COACHES
Thank you for being willing to serve as a coach or assistant coach to the kids of the Manheim Soccer Club! Without you, we would not have a club and kids would miss out on the fun, excitement, and life lessons of playing youth soccer.
To assure the safety of our kids, to comply with state law, and to follow our state soccer association requirements, coaches, assistant coaches, and those directly interacting with minors (child under the age of 18) must complete the 6 requirements listed below. (Please note that the steps for concussion and child abuse prevention trainings will be part of the step-by-step registration process.)

- CONCUSSION TRAINING (required annually)
- SAFE SPORT - CHILD ABUSE TRAINING (required annually)

PENNSYLVANIA STATE LAW REQUIRMENTS
This diagram explains the Pennsylvania Child Protection Laws and Clearances. Individual links are listed below.
1. CLEARANCE FROM THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE (required every 60 months)
- Coaches and assistant coaches have to provide a report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police. The report can be obtained https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp
- Once the clearance is completed, please provide a copy to the program coordinator.
2. PA CHILD ABUSE CLEARANCE (required every 60 months)
- Coaches and assistant coaches have to provide a PA child abuse clearance from the Department of Human Services (CHILD ABUSE). The clearance can be obtained at: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home
- Once the clearance is completed, please provide a copy to the program coordinator.
3. FINGERPRINT BASED FEDERAL CRIMINAL HISTORY (FBI Background Check)
--OR-- DISCLOSURE STATEMENT FOR VOLUNTEERS (required every 60 months)
