Vision Academy 02 Girls Norcal Cup State Champions
The Vision 02 Academy Girls won the Norcal State Cup Championship 4-3 on Penalty Kicks against the Livermore Fusion. The Vision girls outshot the Fusion 13-9 and had 9 corner kicks to their 1. The Vision Girls were experienced in the state cup drama winning the Semi Finals in Penalty Kicks as well. Coach Chris Vane attributed the victory to the team's hard work, tenacity and commitment to the team.
“
The girls only gave up 3 goals in 7 Norcal Cup matches and played with great spirit in all of their games.” This marks the third State Cup Championship in six years for the Vision 02 Academy girls! The State Cup started in August 2017 and culminated June 6, 2018 at Cosumnes College in Sacramento. Congratulations girls!
